For artisans
An ecosystem for jewellery artisans
You design and tell the story. We take care of everything else. We are a jewellery house in Jaipur. We make independent artisans’ designs in Argentium silver, with any gemstone you can think of, and sell them around the world under your name. You get a royalty on every piece.

Sound familiar?
You became a jeweller to design. So why does design get the least of your week?
For most independent jewellers, the bench is only part of the job. The rest goes on photographing pieces, writing captions, answering messages, packing orders, chasing stone suppliers and keeping the accounts. You are the designer, the maker, the photographer and the shop, all at once.
You are far from alone. In one survey of independent jewellers in Australia, 28 per cent worked as sole traders. One guide for jewellery makers reckons solo makers can lose 60 to 70 per cent of their week to marketing, photos and admin. And when orders pick up, the bench hours pile up with them.
This is why so many good makers stay small. There is only one of them, and the work that would make their name known is the work they have least time for.
From our workshop
This is what our bench does with a design
Every piece here was made in our Jaipur workshop, in Argentium silver. Your designs would get the same hands and the same care.
How it works for you
You stay the face. We become the team behind you.
Big jewellery brands have stone buyers, setters, polishers, photographers and a sales team behind one designer. Independent artisans have the same talent and none of that support. We want to be that team for you.
- You, in the middle: your design and your story
- Making in Argentium 960
- Gemstones, sourced and matched
- Stone setting
- Finishing and quality checks
- Filming the work
- Selling worldwide
- Shipping and export
You keep designing and telling the story. We make each piece to order, set the stones, film it, sell it around the world under your name and ship it. You get a royalty every time one sells, and your own shop carries on exactly as it is.
What changes for you
Your work goes further. Your weeks get lighter.
- Your name on every piece
- Each piece carries your name and your story, in words you write or approve. People know whose design they are wearing.
- Buyers you would never reach alone
- A design that sells at your local market can find buyers in New York, London, Dubai or Sydney, and you never pack a parcel.
- Your time back
- The hours that go on everything else go back into designing. That is what keeps a collection fresh.
- Nothing you have now changes
- Your shop, your customers and your prices stay yours. Our sales are on top.
From Jaipur
Whatever your story needs, the stone is already here
Jaipur has been cutting and trading coloured stones for nearly three hundred years and is often called the gemstone capital of the world. India cuts over 90 per cent of the world’s diamonds. We work with more than 100 natural coloured stones, plus diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and moissanite, and match them by colour so a pair of earrings or a whole collection looks like it belongs together.

The silver
Why we work in Argentium silver
If a piece has your name on it, the silver is part of your reputation. Argentium 960 is a silver alloy developed in the UK: 96 per cent pure silver, with germanium doing the job copper does in sterling.
Where the market is going
Even the big fashion houses are going made to order
In October 2025, Prada launched its Couleur Vivante fine jewellery. Every piece is made to order, the price is on request, and the stones are paired in ways jewellers rarely try: aquamarine with peridot, morganite with citrine, peridot with amethyst. Customers even get pictures of their stones going from rough to polished. According to Robb Report, finding the right stones took Prada 18 months.
Made to order and bold colour are exactly where independent artisans are strongest. Every one of those five stones is cut in Jaipur, so with us an unusual pairing is simply a design choice you make.
Your designs stay yours
What is yours stays yours
You own your designs, and making or selling them never changes that. We never sell your designs to anyone else, and they never turn up in another range. If you want an NDA, we sign it before you send a single drawing. Your name and your story stay on every piece.
This is for you if you
- have a story behind your work that people connect with
- have designs people ask for that you cannot make fast enough
- want buyers abroad without running a shipping business
- dream in stones you cannot easily buy or set yourself
- want more of your week for design
It may not be, if
- you promise customers that every piece is made by your own hands
- your work relies on a technique only you can do
An invitation
We are starting with a small group of artisans
We would like the first artisans at Argentia to be storytellers, people whose work means something to the people who wear it. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
I am Toshit, and I look after artisan partnerships at Argentia. I read every message myself. Send me a few photos of your work and tell me a little about the story behind it. If it feels like a good match, we will plan your first pieces together.

WhatsAppQuestions
Questions artisans ask
What is the Argentia artisan ecosystem?
It is a partnership for independent jewellers. You keep designing and telling the story behind your work. We make the pieces in Argentium silver, source and set the stones, film them, sell them worldwide under your name and ship them.
Why is it so hard for independent jewellers to grow?
Because one person usually does everything: designing, making, photography, marketing, packing and admin. Design and storytelling end up with the least time, and more orders only mean more hours at the bench.
How does Argentia help jewellery artisans grow?
We take everything except design and storytelling off your plate, and we sell your pieces to buyers you would not reach on your own. You earn a royalty on every piece we sell.
Is made-to-order jewellery a trend?
Yes. Prada launched its Couleur Vivante fine jewellery in October 2025 with every piece made to order and unusual gemstone pairings such as aquamarine with peridot. Working with Argentia, independent artisans can offer the same: made to order, in Argentium silver, with any Jaipur gemstone.
Do I keep ownership of my designs?
Yes. Your designs stay yours. We sign an NDA on request, and we never sell your designs to anyone else.
Do I keep my own shop and sales?
Yes. Your shop, customers and prices stay exactly as they are. Anything we sell is on top, with a royalty to you.
Why Argentium silver?
It stays bright far longer than sterling, needs no plating, holds stones securely, has no nickel in it, and every piece carries the Winged Unicorn mark, so your name is protected by the metal itself.
Can you work with any gemstone?
Yes. We are in Jaipur, the gemstone capital of the world, and work with more than 100 natural coloured stones, plus diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and moissanite, matched by colour.
Will my name be on the pieces?
Yes. Every piece carries your name and your story, in words you write or approve.
