Why silver gifts tarnish before they are worn
Silver darkens when it reacts with sulfur in the air. A piece someone wears every day gets rubbed clean as it goes. A gift does not. It sits in a box through shipping, in a warehouse before the event, and then in a drawer until the person decides to wear it.
That is the worst place for sterling silver. By the time the box is opened, a bright piece can have turned yellow or grey, and the gift says the opposite of what you meant.
Argentium silver was made to solve this. Germanium in the alloy forms a thin, invisible layer that slows tarnish down a great deal, so the piece looks the way it did when it was packed. It needs no rhodium plating, so there is no coating to wear off later. And it is 96 per cent silver, more than sterling.
It also contains no nickel, the most common cause of skin reactions to jewellery. When you are gifting to a hundred people, that is one less thing to worry about.

- You approve the design and engraving layout.
- We make, engrave and pack every piece in our Jaipur workshop.

The minimum is 100 g of silver across the order, in one design or many. For small pendants, that is roughly 20 to 35 pieces.
