Jewellery trends 2027, and where they all lead
The forecasts for 2027 agree on more than they disagree. Silver is moving into fine jewellery, colour is back, and people want pieces that say something about them. Here is each trend, seen first in the world and then in our workshop in Jaipur.
Read together, they point to one place. We will come to it at the end.

Trend one
Jewellery that behaves like sculpture
The first direction is shape. Forecasters describe asymmetrical earrings that differ on purpose, stones in unexpected cuts, curved cuffs and drops that move as you walk. The piece is judged by its form, the way you would judge a small sculpture.

Made in JaipurArgentium can be hardened after it is made, so a fluid line holds its shape, and Jaipur cuts every shape a sculptural design asks for, from trillion and kite to free-form.
Trend two
Nature, Art Nouveau and filigree
The second direction is nature, often meeting geometry: petals and feathers beside honeycomb and lattice. The Art Nouveau jewellers knew this language a century ago. In India it has never really left, in jaali and in the silver filigree that families have worked for generations.

Made in JaipurWe draw lattice and filigree patterns in CAD, so every piece in a series matches, then finish them by hand. Argentium develops no firescale, so fine openwork stays bright without polishing the detail away.
Trend three
Gold and silver, together again
The rule about sticking to one metal has quietly gone. Gold and silver are being worn on the same hand, in the same stack, sometimes in the same piece. Designers also describe silver moving into fine jewellery, given sculptural form and set with diamonds. Jewellers were combining the two metals more than a thousand years ago, as the ring on the left shows.

Made in JaipurSilver worn beside gold has to stay white. Argentium 960 resists tarnish and needs no plating, and every piece carries the Winged Unicorn under our licence, AS2475.
Trend four
Colour comes back
After a long run of white diamonds, colour is returning to everyday pieces, to statement jewellery and to engagement rings. Prada launched its Couleur Vivante collection in October 2025 entirely made to order, pairing stones such as aquamarine with peridot and morganite with citrine.

Made in JaipurJaipur has cut coloured stones for nearly three hundred years. We work with more than 100 of them, matched by colour across a pair or a whole collection, and every stone in that Prada list is cut here.
Trend five
Small studs, shaped to be noticed
Earrings are getting more expressive at both ends: long sculptural drops, and small studs with a shape of their own. A three-stone cluster catches light from more angles than a single stone, so it reads larger than its weight while staying easy to wear every day.
Made in JaipurOur studs are made in Argentium, which contains no nickel, with moissanite, lab-grown diamonds or coloured stones. See cluster stud earrings.
Trend six
Signet rings with texture, chains with restraint
For men, the forecasts are specific. Signet rings are moving from a plain crest to texture and geometry, sometimes with a stone set in. Cuban link chains continue, in slimmer proportions. And metals are mixed on purpose: a chain beside a watch, a ring beside a cuff.
Made in JaipurWe make signets with engraved shoulders and inset stones, and Cuban link chains in any width and length. More in Argentium silver for men.
Trend seven
A line of stones, chosen with a clear conscience
Lab-grown diamonds and moissanite have moved from alternative to expected, and forecasters describe responsible sourcing becoming a baseline. The piece where these stones show best is a single line of them: the tennis chain and the tennis bracelet.
Made in JaipurBoth weighed after they were made, and both made to order in any stone size and length. See tennis chains and tennis bracelets.
Trend eight
Jewellery that says who you are
Under all of these sits one change. Jewellery is moving away from showing what someone owns and towards showing who they are. Forecasters describe a preference for handcrafted pieces, imperfection that looks intended, and fewer, better pieces that last and get handed on.

Made in JaipurWe also work with independent artisans, who keep designing while we make and sell their pieces. Read about our ecosystem for jewellery artisans.
Where they all lead
To a piece made for one person
Look at the eight trends again. A sculptural shape, a filigree pattern, a gold and silver pairing, an unusual pair of stones, a ring with a story engraved into it. Each one is easier to make for one person than for a shelf. The future these forecasts describe is jewellery made to order.
That is how every piece at Argentia is made: drawn for you, cast in Argentium silver, set with stones chosen in Jaipur, and finished by hand. If one of these trends has already found you, tell us about the piece you have in mind.

Questions
Questions about the 2027 trends

Is silver jewellery in fashion in 2027?
Yes. Forecasters describe silver moving into finer, sculptural pieces with diamond detail, worn alongside gold.
Can you wear gold and silver together in 2027?
Yes. Mixing metals is one of the main directions for 2027, on the same hand, in the same stack or within one piece.
Are coloured gemstones in fashion for 2027?
Yes. Colour is returning to everyday pieces, statement jewellery and engagement rings. Jaipur is one of the world's main centres for cutting coloured gemstones.
What men's jewellery is trending for 2027?
Textured and geometric signet rings, some with stones set into them, Cuban link chains in slimmer proportions, and deliberate mixing of metals.
Is made-to-order jewellery a trend?
Yes. Luxury houses are moving towards it. Prada launched its Couleur Vivante fine jewellery in October 2025 entirely made to order.
Why is Argentium silver suited to these trends?
It resists tarnish, needs no plating, can be hardened to hold sculptural shapes, has no firescale on fine openwork and contains no nickel.
Can I commission a single piece?
Yes. Every piece we make is made to order, so a single commission is how we work, as well as collections for brands.
